Susie Collins, 67, of Gothenburg, died Aug. 20, 2020, at the Hospice House in Lincoln. Susan Kay (Davenport) Collins was born on Feb. 16, 1953, to Merle and Elinor “Sally” (Small) Davenport in Holdrege. She was the next of six kids. Susie grew up on a dairy farm and experienced a mother who lovingly sewed stunning clothes for her. She often mentioned while she was expanding up, “I could not hold out to have store-acquired ice cream, not from the dairy, and retailer-purchased clothing, not from my mother.” She reported she later recognized she experienced the very best ice cream and custom made outfits and she so appreciated them each. She graduated from Orleans Substantial School. Susie married David W. Collins on May well 29, 1971. The union developed two small children, Lisa and Tony, and their spouses, who she beloved like her personal, Dan and Andrea. She is leaving at the rear of a family members who will miss her like ridiculous together with her husband, Dave, who loved her improved than any person could to the really stop daughter, Lisa (Dan) Bash of Lincoln and grandchildren Peyton, Libby and Parker Bash son, Tony (Andrea Sokol) Collins of Ayr and grandchildren Hunter, Hyatt and Kaytra Collins sisters, Barb (Don) Overleese of Franklin, Ella (Alan) Porter of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Connie (Monthly bill) Horwart of Stamford brothers, David Davenport of Orleans and Jeff (Donita) Davenport of Fairfax Station, Virginia. father-in-regulation, Neil Collins of Orleans sister-in-legislation, Deb (Duane) Vorderstrasse of Hebron brother-in-regulation, Doug (Barb) Collins of Bellevue, Iowa and a lot of nieces, nephews and pals.
